Beetroot Hummus

beetroot hummus

INGREDIENTS

1 x 250 g jar of chickpeas

180 g cooked beetroot

1 lemons

2 cloves of garlic

Extra virgin olive oil

¼ Tahini

1 tsp salt

METHOD
STEP 1 ● Drain the chickpeas, then combine with the beetroot, and the juice of 1 lemon in a food processor. Whiz at a high speed until well combined (about a minute).
STEP 2 ● Peel the garlic, then add to the processor alongside the tahini, 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil, and salt. Whiz again until smooth.
